CECTA is the Central European Countries Travel Association - an umbrella organisation bringing together the collective interests of countries in Central Europe to increase their share of the global business and leisure travel market.
 

Create a branding strategy to position Central Europe as pre-eminent in culture, music, the arts and outdoor leisure activities by exploiting existing attractions. Attract long stay visitors by building greater awareness within the travel industry. Develop cost effective, cross-marketing business and networking opportunities. Offer a central resource for information, research, education and training.

Market research programmes would collectively identify' needs covering market statistics, tracking, attitude, market trends. Joint venture opportunities could include marketing, advertising, travel shows. cecta will issue regular press releases to the media

A cecta web-site will be established containing listings of members and hyper-links to other sites

A cecta logo bromide will be available free of charge for use in brochures and other printed material. Larger 'shop window' signs wilt be available for purchase. cecta will build a library of information.

Members will be encouraged to suggest events or activities for participation and share of costs.
